Electronic Statement Agreement
Effective Date: May 10, 2024
This agreement contains important information about our Electronic Statement product, also referred to as E-Statements. You should keep a copy of this agreement for your records. To complete your requests to enroll and to stop receiving paper statements by mail for one or more of your accounts, please read and accept this agreement.
With the E-Statement service, you may request the convenience of receiving your statement(s) electronically at County Bank’s Online Banking web site. Electronic delivery of your statements will in most cases eliminate delivery of the paper statement and checks that may be enclosed with that statement. If you select and activate this option, you must then log on to County Bank's secure Online Banking web site to review the new statement. Your acceptance of E-Statements includes the delivery of periodic deposit account statements, notifications, disclosures and other information that County Bank is required by law to deliver that may be enclosed with that statement, in an electronic format rather than a paper format. You agree that our posting of the statement at the Online Banking web site constitutes delivery of the statement to you. You agree to log on to the Online Banking web site at least once a month to review your statements.
E-Statement Delivery
Our Online Banking customers already experience the convenience of viewing periodic account history online. Additional convenience and security can be achieved by enrolling in our E-Statement product. When you enroll for E-Statements, you can eliminate the delivery of paper statements.
If you enroll for E-Statements, you may receive one statement in the mail after today's date, and then you will no longer receive a paper copy delivered by mail. Your periodic account statements will only be accessible through our Online Banking Service.
Online statements are free of charge. Other fees are documented in the Fee Schedule. Prices and services are subject to change from time to time.
Email Reminders for Consumers only
If you enroll for Consumer E-Statements, we may, but are not obligated, to send you an email alert to the email address we have on file for you when your statement becomes available for viewing online. If the account(s) for which you wish to receive online statements is a joint account, you agree that transmission of any e-mail notice to the e-mail address that has been supplied for that account constitutes fulfillment of County Bank's notification on behalf of all account owners. In order to deliver notifications of new statements, you must update us with any change in your e-mail address. You can change the e-mail address at any time by accessing Online Banking. If you fail to provide us with this information and electronic records are returned undelivered, we may treat your provision of an invalid email address, or the subsequent malfunction of a previously valid email address, as a withdrawal of your consent to receive electronic records. County Bank is not responsible for e-mail delivery failures beyond our control, including, but not limited to, Internet Service Provider outages, hardware or software failures, interruption of telephone service, telecommunications facilities or interference from an outside source.
Statement Availability
E-statements are securely available online. Check images can also be easily accessed online for 60 days. Both E-Statements and check images may be downloaded or printed for permanent retention.
You may download or print E-Statements or check copies from your computer if you have the hardware and software described below. You can also save copies to your hard drive or other media for viewing and printing at a later time.
If you need a paper copy, please contact us by either email at support@countybankmail.com, regular mail at County Bank, 19927 Shuttle Rd., Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971, or telephone at (302) 226-9800. Be sure to specifically state what records you are requesting (disclosures, notices, etc.). Charges may apply for paper copies.

Hardware and Software Requirements
You don’t need any special hardware or software to access E-Statements. If you can access the Online Banking Service, you should be able to access your E-Statements. However, prior to enrolling for E-Statements, you should verify that you have the following required hardware and software:
- An active email address and Internet connection, along with a web-enabled device with an operating system capable of supporting items 2 and 3.
- A current version* of an Internet browser we support, which may include Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Safari, or Chrome.
- Access to a printer or the ability to download information to keep copies for your records. You will also need a current version* of a program that accurately reads and displays PDF files, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader.
*By “current version”, we mean a version of the software that is currently being supported by its publisher and that we support.
We may revise hardware and software requirements, and if there is a material chance that the changes may impact your ability to access E-Statements, we will notify you of these changes in advance and provide you an opportunity to change your method of receiving disclosures (e.g. change to paper format vs. an electronic format) without the imposition of any fees.
Proceed with Acceptance of E-Disclosures
By accepting this Agreement when you sign on to Online Banking, and then activating one or more of your accounts for E-Statement delivery, you consent to the electronic delivery of your periodic statements including any check images you may currently receive, and notices (including any change in terms), disclosures and other information that County Bank is required by law to deliver with the paper statements for the selected account(s). You also agree that you have the necessary equipment for accessing and viewing E-Statements and the materials provided to you electronically and you agree to notify us if you change your email address or if you no longer want to receive statements electronically. By taking such actions, you consent to the terms of this agreement, as they may be modified from time to time.
